New stuff and a Freebie

It’s been a while!  School starting back has kept me away.  I’m looking for that balance between teaching, motherhood, and a little time for preserving my family’s memories while also helping you do the same.

There has been so much going on the past few weeks that I barely know where to start.  Let me start off first showing you my new kit called Fun Lovin’.   It was inspired by my CTM Dj with bright fun colors and doodled elements.

There is also this coordinating set of cardstocks.

Down By the Lily Pad – CT Blog Train (FREEBIE)

Hang on to your seats – this is going to be a doozy of a post!  I promise though, if you stay through until the end it’ll be well worth the time you spent with me today.  :)

I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for my newest kit release!  I love teaming up with Scraps of Ellay and this time our friend Christie Dawn of Scrappin’ Serenity joined us in a 3 kit collab called Down By the Lily Pad!  This collab is super adorable and one you just don’t want to pass up.  We’ve done this collab a little different than the last two Ellay and I did.  This time there are three separate full kits each with a full alpha.  Let me show you all three kits first before I tell you more.

Choo choo! May CWC CT Blog Train

Wow!  Can you believe it’s already May?  It seems like just the other day we were celebrating the new year.  Color With Caryn’s CT has gotten together once again to bring you a blog train.  The stops along the way have different pieces of a mini kit that is just for all those Mom’s out there whatever variation of the title you use.

I truly meant to get this to you before now.  I’ve been working on stuff all weekend to give away, but I found that I kept running into the same problem time and time again.  I fell in love with what I was working on to the point that I couldn’t find a stopping spot.  Never fear all the other stuff will be either heading your way as a freebie either here on my blog or through facebook, or as a kit in my store at Stuff to Scrap.  Depends on where the kits take me on their journey.  LOL

Honestly, I’m going to pay for this later today (as it is 12:30 a.m. Monday morning) and this is going to be a crazy busy day with my students having a 2 1/2 hour rehearsal for our musical that is tomorrow night.  I also have early morning duty – I LOVE morning duty (note the sarcasm).

Apology and fixed papers

I first want to say thank you for everyone that stopped by the past couple of days to pick up my paper pack.  I really enjoy making digital scrapbook items for you to scrap your precious memories with whether it is to print out or to see in some other form such as a digital frame or a screen saver.

I also want to apologize for the color problems in the NewSpring paper pack.  I thought I had QC’d them but I was tired, distracted, and in a hurry to get them up for you that I obviously didn’t check them as close as I normally do.  So today I rechecked them and fixed the colors so they should print just fine.  If you aren’t going to print what you make then the other papers will be just fine but if you are like most digital scrappers you will possibly want to print what you make so you’ll want to download this updated pack.

Thoughts of Spring

With March being just around the corner my mind has already turned to Spring.  I love springtime.  The new growth all around, the longer daylight hours, the chance to go outside and not burn up.  Here in Texas these Spring days are all too short lived.  By the time school is out in June it is hot, hot, and hot.  So like all the new plants I soak up the Spring air and enjoy it while it lasts.

When I got my hands on Color With Caryn’s two new CU overlay packs I knew I was going to do something with Spring in mind.  Never mind that I have 350 photos of the recent snow of the century here in Texas to scrap.  LOL 

So I took these overlays which are available today at Color With Caryn’s DSW store:

Can you believe it?  I actually have another freebie for you already!  I made a little paper pack and a few elements to help you create something special for your sweetie for Valentine’s Day.  Most of this was made with CU products by Color With Caryn.  The great thing about her CU products is they are also good for PU too!

I hope you enjoy your gift!  I’m going to be gone for most of next week.  There’s this awesome music education convention in Texas that I’m getting to go to with 2 other elementary music specialists from my school district.  I’m so excited!  Not that will benefit all of you in my digital scrapbooking world but then again, maybe it will.  I won’t be taking the good camera with me but I could take our older point and shoot one…hmm….   Something to think about.

I have been just about to burst with excitement waiting to share this with you!
