Just a reminder

Lori of Scraps of Ellay is participating in the Relay for Life next week. For those that aren't familiar with Relay for Life it raises funds for cancer research. Ellay has a freebie kit for anyone who donates any amount for the American Cancer Society. There is a link on her blog to donate and once you do she will send you the links for this kit. The image is linked back to her blog where you can dontate.

Cancer is a disease that comes in many forms and touches almost all our lives in some way. Please, think about donating toward this worthy cause of funding research for a cure. Every little bit helps!

Speed Scrap 4/25

There is going to be a Speed Scrap at STS tomorrow (Saturday). These are always tons of fun. After all it involves two of my favorite things - Scrappin' and Chattin'! LOL

In addition to the fun and ending up with a great layout Nicole is also handing out this sweet participation prize just for playing Can't get much better than that!

New Kits available

This week has been a crazy one. First our internet service was down for 3 days, then I've had a lot going on at work. Tonight I have been trying to get caught up and have found myself totally lost. LOL SuzyQ has been ultra busy this week. She's releasing two new kits the first is called Bug Collectin' and it's got some of the cutest little creatures in it! Here is a small sample of what you'll find: Then she's got another full kit out called Nature Walk. It really is beautiful. I had time to make one layout with it to share with you. I also had time to work with a new kit by Mel of A+ Designs called Best Friends. All these kits went into the store today. Just click on the name and you'll be taken right to the page to look at the full kit.

Bears Eat Beets and a Speed Scrap

No bear or beet was harmed in the making of Scraps of Ellay's newest kit. Matter of fact, there aren't bears or beets in it but the name kinda grabs you, doesn't it? This kit is full of rich colors. If you head to SOE's blog you can pick this kit up for free.

Here are a couple of layouts that I made with this kit. The bottom one I started for a Speedscrap but it took a life of it's own. You know how it is, sometimes you start something and then something hits you and you just have to go with the flow.There is an announcement by LA on her blog that her earlier freebie kits are going to be going into her new store beginning May 1. She'll still be giving a freebie kit each week but they'll only be free for one week and after that they'll be available at STS which is opening soon. So while "Bears Eat Beets" is up you ought to go snag it.

There's a speed scrap today at Stuff to Scrap with the awesome Britt of Gettin' Scrappy with Britt. If you click on the flyer you go straight to the forum where you can register. News, and inspiration

First I have some exciting news (well at least for me anyway). Mel of A+ Designs asked me to join her CT! I fell in love with her designs when she joined ESS and I bought her Rainbow Dreams kit. She has a new kit going into the store today called "Naturally Beautiful" that I played with just last night. Here's what I came up with:Then I have found the perfect kit to show off all my "handy man" photos. SuzyQScraps has a new kit out today called "Daddy's Lil Helper" that is just adorable! Take a look at these and you'll see what I mean.

I didn't have the right photos to use all the tools and paintbrush elements but I'm going to be watching for the opportunity to get some the next time my husband decides to go on another "handyman" spree. LOL!

Psst . . . that bottom layout was turned into a QP that you can pick up over on SuzyQ's team blog as a freebie today! It's a Southern thing

I love Spring and Summer. The flowers, the chance to be outside in the sun, and taking time to relax. I am also a southern gal all the way. I've never gotten into the trend of hot tea or flavored coffee. However, when you offer me tea it has to be SWEET! I don't mean just a little bit sweet either, I mean really sweet.

SuzyQ's latest kit

SuzyQScraps has done it again. She's created a fabulous new kit called Desire. It is full of beautiful papers, embellishments, and word art that are sure inspire you. I know I will be coming back to this kit as my children meet different milestones in their lives.
